Live in order to work?

We are new residents of the USA who arrived here for various reasons from different countries such as Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, Latvia and Senegal. Those are beautiful countries where nice and friendly people live. Every country has many differences like traditional food, economics, education system, weather, politics, and work opportunities.

It is evident that every person must work to earn money to live. Any immigrant who came to the U.S. has a problem of finding a job. First of all, most of immigrants have a problem with English. If you do not speak English very well, you cannot get a job with a good salary. As the result you have a low-paid job. You must take more shifts and work long hours to pay for your family lifestyle. Consequently, you are very tired and cannot spend enough time with your family. Also, there is no time to study English. Earning money has become the main goal in our lives, and our families and private life become less important. It means that now we live to work, but we believe that we will work in order to live very soon.
